MULTIMEDIA UNIVERSITY (MMU)

OBJECTIVES

* To develop an understanding and ability to manage within specific functional areas of management;
* To develop a generalist’s perception of the organisation to eschew narrow functional perspective and ensure inter-functional cooperation;
* To help participants become familiar with multimedia applications in strategic decision making; and
* To provide a stimulating intellectual challenge and opportunity to develop interpersonal and leadership skills.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

The modular programme (part - time MBA) conducted on weekends consists of twelve (12) modules running for a period of twenty- four (24) months. 
The part-time MBA conducted on weekday evenings is run on a trimester system and the course work may be completed within twenty ( 20 ) months.

Project (Compulsory)

All students must undertake project work for a total of 12 credit hours. The project work is made up of two components: the first is the Research and Case Methodology course for four credit hours; the second requires the student to carry out a case study or research project under the supervision of an academic staff member. The case study or project report will be examined by the supervisor as well as by an independent internal examiner.

ADMISSION CRITERIA

Part Time - weekend & week day Only candidates with a degree or equivalent, with at least two (2) years relevant working experience
Full Time - week day A minimum 2nd class Honours Bachelor's degree from the Multimedia University or any other recognised University; or equivalent
International Students If English has not been their medium of instruction, TOEFL (overall score of 580 or better) or IETLS results (overall band score of 6.5 or better) is required. The acceptance of the candidate shall be solely at the discretion of Senate whose decision shall be final
